Anyone Can Pull
I've been thinking.......

Most of us are really good at the “asking” part.
We pull, we push, we squeeze, we worry, we hover…
We’re all basically Olympians at applying pressure.

But the moment the horse (or the project, or our own nervous system) finally says “okay, I got it”?
We so often just… keep holding on.

Like we’re afraid if we let go, it’ll all fall apart.

Here’s the secret I wish someone had told me earlier:
the release is the whole point.

That tiny, immediate softening when you feel the change?
That’s the “thank you.”
That’s the trust deposit.
That’s what turns the aid into partnership.

And honestly? That’s the single biggest difference between an Olympic-level rider and one who’s just… not quite there yet.
The elite riders aren’t stronger or tougher, they’re just faster at letting go.

So ya, next time you catch yourself hanging on for dear life…ask yourself:
“Have they already answered me? Can I let go now?”

Pressure asks the question.
Softness gives the answer.
And the rider who masters the release?
They don’t just ride… they win the conversation.
